Things to watch out for when brushing your hair

For practically everyone, combing their hair is a regular exercise. Some people maintain a certain hairstyle throughout their lives, while others—particularly those in the younger generation—adopt various looks in response to fashion and trends. A person's hairstyle and personality are closely related. An unclean person's hair is typically knotted and filthy due to neglecting to wash and comb it. A nutritious diet is necessary for healthy scalp hair. The quantity and quality of hair are directly related to overall wellness. For hair to look attractive, it also needs regular washing, the use of hair oil, good combing, etc. Here are some general tips for combing.

1) There are several types of combs on the market. The type of hair (long or short, soft or hard), style, and convenience are all taken into account while choosing the ideal comb.

2) The greatest attention and focus should be used when combing. Some people, particularly men, comb carelessly while thinking about other things, which could damage the hair.

3) Gentle combing is necessary. Hair loss may accelerate after a rigorous combing.

4) If the hair is damp, avoid combing. After using a towel to pat dry, apply some oil and give it a light massage. The combing will now be simple and risk-free.

5) No hairs should be combed in the other direction. This may cause more hair loss.

6) Traction baldness can result from vigorous backward combing.

7) Regular combing can harm the hair follicles and scalp. People who carry pocket combs use them often and develop a habit of doing so. It's enough to combine two or three times a day.

8) Avoid pressing the comb too firmly on the scalp and avoid using sharp teeth.

9) The comb should always be cleaned before and after usage because hair and dirt buildup in the gaps will make combing uncomfortable and challenging.

10) Do not use any other comb. This lessens the risk of bacterial and fungal infections. Sharing combs is another way that head lice can spread from one person to another.

11) It is uncomfortable and challenging to comb through the tangled hair. Therefore, wash with shampoo, then use oil once it has dried to loosen the hairs for easier combing.
