American actress Terry Jarre, known for her roles in popular comedies like “Tootsie” and “Mr. Mom,” passed away in Los Angeles following a prolonged struggle with multiple sclerosis (MS), as confirmed by her representative Heidi Schiffer. She was 79 years old.
Jarre's entertainment career began in the 1960s as a dancer, where she performed alongside Elvis Presley in the musical “Great Nights in Las Vegas.” In the 1970s, she transitioned to acting, taking on supporting roles in films such as “The Dialogue,” “Young Frankenstein,” and “Close Encounters of the Third Kind.”
